29th Apr 06. Glens 3 Dungannon 1 - Browne, Morgan, and wait for it .... JODY TOLAN!
Well done all round ... Winner of the draw v Dungannon was Larry Harland with the ticket number 9373, Larry won £500 and due to the magnificent response from the best supporters in the League, a great servant to the club - Chris Walker, also gets £500 towards his Benefit funds. May I place on record my sincere gratitude to our generous supporters for their consistant support of the Halfers Draw which they have made by far, the best Match Day Draw in the whole of Ireland. Thanks very much!! - Tommy McKee
**Note** - I happen to know Tommy (Halfers) McKee very well folks, but for those of you who don't (and I hope he doesn't mind me saying this) - Tommy's not the sort of guy who does this for personal credit, he's a die-hard Glenman who amongst others stands out there in all weathers week in week out for the love of his football club - OUR football club. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks Tommy does a tremendous job in his 'Halfers' hut. Buy the man a pint on Saturday!

17th Apr 06. In light of investigations from UEFA into alleged sectarian chants recently, I hear the great unwashed have sent documentation to UEFA pleading their case. One of the documents was a photograph of a few players modelling the new white away kit for next season. I believe they hope that with white being the colour of peace & impartiality, UEFA will be more lenient with their sentence. I've managed to get hold of the photo and attached it HERE

Loughgall 2 Glentoran 3 - almost forgot .. ;-)
By the way ... take a wild guess who's after Gary Smyth? (for a third time!)
7th Apr 06. Loughgall game ... and No, I'm not kiddin ;-) Life goes on (and anyway there's a nice wee club in Loughgall). Ok I hear you say, so with UEFA Cup and Setanta qualification secured what's the point in these last 5 league games? Well actually to you and me not a lot I suppose, but to the players ... ? Well. These last 5 games will decide who gets an opportunity to redeem themselves on May 6th. After today, and before the Cup Final, the last 4 league matches are against the other top 4 teams in the table, and 3 of them ARE still looking for European and Setanta Cup qualification! Any slacking and we could find ourselves on the end of a few more 6-nillers! No, what there is left of our season we begin building for tomorrow, and that includes character. If some of these players can't muster a fight for an Irish Cup Final place, then in my opinion we should play a wee lad from the Seconds in his place! I suggest you go to these next 5 games and judge for yourself. Ballymac's bus leaves Wilgar Street at 1.30pm, I imagine there'll be plenty of room!
Match Betting: Loughgall 3/1, Glentoran 4/5, and a draw 9/4. All odds supplied by TOALS bookmakers.
Oh by the way ... Paul Millar has just been named Northern Ireland Football Writers' Manager of the Month for March!

More details will follow here in due course, but I can confirm that bookings for return bus and disco will once again be made available online ... 60 years and counting ;-)
